Look again. The notice is in the photo: "Sometimes there's more truth in the virtual than the actual"

Does anyone still believe that this is going to be "a close race"?

Well, I'd like to think it wont' be close...that President Bush will run away with the election. But then, I'm probably like most on this website...and NOTHING like about 50% of the population who appear to be uninformed, ignorant of the seriousness of what's at stake with this election. I'm guardedly optimistic at this point that President Bush will prevail, but plan to remain ever vigilant until Kerry makes that concession call on election night.

I'm not laughing. I've been saying the same thing since Arnie's speech.

Kerry, didn't you mean to say "Unfit for Command"?

Errrhhh, never mind, there's already a book with that name.

Obviously, Mr Kerry hasn't done his homework. Read the book, John!

I sometimes wonder if Kerry has actually already read the book, and refuses to comment because it presents a much more favorable(read, fair and balanced) image of Kerry in combat than could ever be justified by the facts -- as in Let "Sleeping" Dogs Lie -- for fear they might awake again and bite harder.

For example, every reference to the word "Unfit" now works to Kerry's disadvantage because the associations are so negative and so firmly ingrained in the public consciousness -- though he is now in panic mode and doesn't realize the harm he's doing to himself.

But, if he wants to hoist himself onto his many petards, why stand in the way?

"Sounds like Michael Moore is weaselling his way into the Kerry campaign advising Kerry's plan of attack on Bush."

Hmmm...that or Kerry's been dipping into Teresa's drugs and booze.

30 years in office

I guess you are including his time as Lt. Gov and as a defense attorney? Regardless, try this math:

Showed up for work this year = 10 days (guesstimate)
x 30 years
= 300 days of work in his lifetime

Sorry. Didn't notice that. My eyes - and brain - are too tired from last night.

"plan to remain ever vigilant until Kerry makes that concession call on election night"

Do you seriously think that sKerry, or his Party, have the class to make such a call? I think they'll whine and complain the election was stolen again. "Its not fair...our voters are disenfranchised because not enough of their mommies could go with them to guide their hand in the voting booth!!!"

No problem, many people miss it. What you said about that other Fonda Kerry fake photo causing problems is 100%. These photos spread like fleas and notices outside the photo get lost. So a notice in the photo may get missed at first glance but is safer in the long run.

"And it should be illegal to allow any Bush supporter to use the word "stupid" in regards to the opposing presidential candidate... Define Patriot

There go the "tolerant" crowd looking to curtail the First Amendment for anyone they don't agree with...because they're so much smarter and know what's best for managing the masses in a progressive social order.

"Hey, 30 years in office about quadruples the experience of our current president. Considering Kerry was actually involved in government in the late 80's when EVERYONE (including Cheney et al) agreed to downsize the military after the fall of the Soviet's, I'd say the man did A LOT! And as for "unfit": If you are president and NO ONE (save the defense secretary) has ANY military experience and your job is to decide when and how others will be asked to kill and die, I think Kerry is much more "fit" than someone with a combined 9 years in politics. And it should be illegal to allow any Bush supporter to use the word "stupid" in regards to the opposing presidential candidate... Define Patriot"

Well first off, as you can tell, we aren't Facists like the people over at DU, so welcome. You wanted to engage in debate so please do. There are some rules however.

1. You must make sense
2. You cannot call someone names
3. If you do not make a valid point, be prepared for rebuttal.

ok, now that we got the prelims out of the way, please let me rebut.

Senator Kerry's only accomplishment in the 1980's was to validate the Communist regime of Daniel Ortega. In addition, The good Senator voted against every weapons system, benefits to veterans, against every tax reduction package, against any educational initiative, against every economic incentive.

To continue, in 19 years of senatorial service, Senator Kerry has NEVER authored a bill that has passed the house. The esteemed Senator from Mass has shown up to his job in the last 24 months approximately 15% of the time. Basically that is less than 1 day per work week.

However, I might add, that Senator Kerry has decided not to risk his Senate seat to run for the highest office in the free world. So on top of being the most liberal politician in this country over the last decade, he is too afraid to give up his seat in the senate.

As you can tell, I didn't talk about Vietnam. I didn't even talk about what Senator Kerry did when he got back from Vietnam. You know why? As a citizen of this country, young Kerry had the right to protest. He had the right to throw his medals, or ribbons over the wall of the White House. He had the right to go before Congress and condemn his compatriots are war criminals. That's the freedom our soldiers fight and die to protect.

However, with this freedom comes responsibility. Responsibility Senator Kerry does not want to accept and instead of owning up to it as a man, he chooses to hide behind a cadre of lawyers using facist tactics to prevent the Freedom that Senator Kerry went to Vietnam to protect.

So before you go off on the President, the Vice President and his staff, look within and ask yourself if John Kerry is a man you would trust to protect your family, spend your money and give you the opportunity to govern your own life without government interference.

Anyone please feel free to add to this. I just wanted to welcome our guest with constructive debating of the facts about the Democrat candidate for President.

I prefer the headline "Minimalized Drunken Presidential Candidate slurs through Attack Monologue"

I didn't catch it and friends tell me the gigolo looked and sounded like he was drunk or on drugs and the thing was so great an embarassment for the dems that a couple of networks which had started to carry it dropped out. They say it was an incoherent, rambling disaster.

Is that what you got from it?
