I agree, this is no time to refight the impeachment battle and the various other scandals about this guy.

from a purely political angle, if he were to pass away, his wife would use that as a political tool to advance her move on the white house - I hope the guy lives until he's 100.

Quadruple bypasses are equivalent to what an appendectomy was 50 years ago.

Clinton will have the best docs at Columbia Presby; the most conscientious attendants at home while recuperating (God Help Them if they are young, attractive nurses!), and he will live on...and on...and on.

Hillary without Bill has not clout and no entre to the party. She'd be tossed aside.
She ain't Joan Crawford - she doesn't have anything to offer other than a winking at the voters that voting for her will skirt around the 22nd Amendment and put Bill in.
For the stupid, they'd buy it.
