Mine wasn't high either. Low HDL courtesy of genetics. Still low but so is my LDL. In my case I know what happened , I ran too hard and ruptured a plaque.

But then again on the day I got home I ran a mile because I fear being a burden way more than I fear going to the Lord. My brother thought I was nuts, but he's always thought I was nuts. LOL

My wife didn't know until much later and she too thinks I'm nuts. Such is life.:-}
