The next time we see Kerry will be after he has emerged from Clinton's oprerating room in sweaty scrubs talking about how the training he got in Vietnam was crucial in saving the former President's life.
Perhaps he should have spent more time at that church talking to the Keeper of the house, rather than politicking...
I know everyone is saying let's keep it civil, and I want to...as much as I despise the Left, God made them as well as the Right and the Middle, and it's His call as to when their time of life is to end.
But someone once said, "what you sow, you reap".
As he was wheeled into the operating room, he probably said to the doctors, "I sure hope you're Democrats..."
A Dr. Howard Dean of Shelburne Vermont has been flown in for assistance.... (kidding)
Quadruple bypass? He was with four women at once?!!
I'll pray for his full recovery.
Generally, folks notice this by a decrease in cardio vascular fitness if they are at all active. If not you suddenly find yourself gasping for air when walking up a flight of stairs or something like that.
In my case, I knew I had a blockage because I used to run religiously and I couldn't even run a mile without getting winded when I had a blockage.
I had a friend that was admitted 1 day after it was determined that that there was a blockage. He was having pains in his back - went to the doctor in the morning. Went for a second opinion in the afternoon - and was in surgery the next morning. I think if the blockage is severe enough they rush 'em in.
Don't care for Clinton of course - but certainly am praying for a positive outcome. It has to be scary..
Here's wishing him a complete recovery.
Prayers for the surgeons and the nurses, I hope they don't get their butts sued off.
I agree that it would be a nightmare if Clinton died during the next few months, but there is no reason to suppose that he's in real danger or is not going to make it. This happens millions of times a year, and it's a blessing that we have an extraordinary medical system that can throw him on an operating table and unclog his arteries within a few hours after getting a bad diagnosis. The real issue is that he is not going to be in shape to do much campaigning after a quadruple bypass; the rehab and recovery are very time-consuming. Just as well for him, since he surely cannot want Kerry to win anyway.
Nah...the truth is she is having him "fixed!"
"...lesions means he's had at least one heart attack."
I didn't know that, about the import of lesions, I mean.
Hopefully he gets well quick so we can get back to making fun of him again.
Remember how we felt when about the vitriol that came from the Left when Reagan died?
When you juxtaposition the two men's political careers and their lives against one another, what do you see? Equals!? Juxtaposition Bill Clinton's non mainstream media record to Ronald Regan's record -- what do you see?
i am praying for him, honestly.
Wouldn't it be awful if we didn't have Bill Clintoon to kick around any more?
This is unexpected, for Clinton too I'm sure.
Bush's speech last night must have been more powerful than I thought....
Thank you for the information.
Yes, prayers for his surgeons, nurses and specialists, that they may apply the very best of their skills to the matter.
Yes, it can come on suddenly. My brother had emergency quad bypass surgery two years ago when he was about the age Clinton is. He did have some symptoms but it wasn't until later that they were recognized as such.
