++How is that possible? If a legal separation is obtained cannot either party indulge in the horizontal boogie? Besides is simply being seen with another considered adultery?

Adultery is almost *IMPOSSIBLE* to prove, for obvious reasons.
Besides, there are many (hopefully) men (like myself) who would not consider any kind of relations with a woman short of marriage. Doesn't mean he can't date.
