That has got to be one of the most gut-wrenching pictures I've ever seen. (Mother over child) Similar reaction to some of the WTC pictures, with people falling to their death. This maddness must be met, not ignored; killed, not negotiated with. That is the only issue on ballot in Nov.

Kerry would have been more sensitive to the terrorists. Bet Kerry would have done 'everything' differently. /sarcasm

It's not prejudice to finally accept the truth; that while not all Muslims are killers, almost all killers are Muslims. Therefore we must suspect and confront the known group that means us harm. I hate the thought of hassling innocent Muslims, but I no longer care. Prophet worshippers, get out. Just get out now. Better now than after your 'tiny minority' slaughters our children over here...then it will be too late for you to get out.
CAIR will probably be at my doorstep, but I'll tell them the same thing. Out. Out now.

That has got to be one of the most gut-wrenching pictures I've ever seen I agree...this has been one of the toughest threads ever. I am a father of three, two of which are girls the same age as those in the pictures... If they bring it on here, I will be ready.

do these stupid bastards actually think that killing children is a smart strategic move that will win people to their side???? No more than they thought killing a few thousand Americans would make us love them. They, Al Qaida leadership, want us to come down on them. They believe that will spark an uprising amoung the "moderate" Arabs and Muslims. Well we came down on them pretty hard, it hasn't happened yet, it's not gonna happen. But they can't accept that, it goes against their entire world view, so the killing of innocents will continue.

There is a special place in hell for these &$&@#& Yes. We and the Russians, and whoever else wants in, need to send a great number of them there, very quickly.

How the Romans Fight The Enemy:
The good old days with no MEDIA.
Third Punic War:
Consul. Public Cornelius Scipio Aemilianus took command and immediately made strides. Forcing the enemy to withdraw within the city of Carthage, he blockaded the harbor to prevent supply and laid waste to the countryside. By the winter of 147/146 BC, the Romans occupied the outskirts of Carthage and were prepared for the attack.
The spring of 146 BC opened the assault on the city. 6 days of brutal street fighting was a testament to Carthaginian resistance and Roman resolve.
First capturing the walls, then surrounding the citadel, the Romans were free to wreak havoc on the civilian population.
Before the final Carthaginian surrender, a city of some 700,000 people was reduced to 50,000 defenders. Upon finally giving up, these remaining forces were rounded up and sold into slavery.
In the aftermath, despite Scipios objections, he was order to raze the city. Taking every bit of plunder they could, the Romans destroyed the harbor, demolished the large stone structures and burned the city for 10 days.
(Despite popular opinion, the salting of the land afterward to prevent repopulation was a story added after the fact and may not have happened at all.) However, a good idea.
Carthage was destroyed, and would not be rebuilt successfully for another 150 years until the reign of Augustus.
Sidebar:
(If Mecca doesn't allow other religions in their city then Islam should never be allow in other cities and if the Islamic terrorist keeps it up Mecca should mirror Carthage to send a message.)

What's with the lack of clothing on the children? Heat in the building, plus medics tend to strip their patients in order to assess and treat their injuries. If the kids didn't have much on when the Fit Hit the Shan, they wouldn't have much for the medics to remove.

Bodies of schoolchildren killed in a school seizure are seen in Beslan, North Ossetia, Friday, Sept. 3, 2004. Russia's hostage crisis
erupted into explosions, gunfire and screams of fleeing children Friday as commandos stormed the school where militants strapped with
bombs had held as many as 1,200 people hostage. More than 150 people were dead, and officials said the toll would rise significantly. (AP Photo/Sergey Ponomarev)
