Just heard the radio report -- Chechen "militants" and 100 "people" killed when Russians stormed.
The conditions in the building were very hot. They stripped down to cool down, reports say.
They are MUSLIMS--not just gunmen or rebels. Wake up world and wipe these animals out once and for all. I like the pork fat solution offered earlier.
I believe that as much as I believe they were only "militant" and the dead were because Russians "stormed" the school.
It was very hot, there was water but they wouldn't let the children or adults have it, there was a faucet.
Why spend time blaming the Russians for ineptness. This could happen here and the outcome would be the same. People bent on killing, people who could do this to children, cannot be negotiated with.

Absolutely. But I think you'd agree that you have to eliminate the terrorists "here" before you go after them "there." The most dangerous threats anyway.
The initital reports indicated that the terrorists started firing on Russia's Delta Type force as they exited the building. The Russians did not storm the building.

Oh sure- the Russians will fight against terrorism- as long as it emanates from one of ther "breakaway" republics. In fact, they'll probably level the place and create a breeding ground for more terrorism ad infinitum, just like they did in Afghanistan.
Now, continuing to sell nuclear expertise to Iran- THAT is just business.
Just think how much more effective it would be if the free world were to unite to fight terrorism. The only way that will happen will be if more of these countries are involved. I'm not saying that I want the two French journalists to die, but if they do, it may mobiize the "sensitive" French.
