Rumor has it that John Kerry and Teresa Heinz never really married. In the official will it states that when she re-marries, all the Heinz family money will be removed from her.
She obviously still has the fortune so .............?
Would this lie of John Kerry be the one that unravels the whole thing?
Or will people care that they're 'living in sin'?
To: Caoilfhionn
(1) No one will care if they are living in sin. Morality is in short supply in America these days.
(2) People might care that Senator Kerry is structuring his personal relationships to get as much cash out of them as possible.

If so, she won't be First Lady, she'll be... something else.

Wow! If this is true, this would be implosive and explosive! I can't even believe this is true! I'm getting all giddy just thinking about the possibilities!

While "living in sin" isn't a problem for most Americans, marital hypocrisy bordering on fraud for money is. I think it would be a bombshell if true.

You are way underestimating the impact of a story like this. This would, yet again, be a road bump on the Kerry campaign. Another charge to answer and more time wasted from making his point. On the other hand, it will keep America from really "getting to know" Lurch.

I am willing to never know the answer to this question as long as they promise that they won't procreate. We need to limit this mans effect on the gene pool.

I don't think it will be an issue of marital status. It will be an issue of lying about something so basic about his personal identity, there's no limitation then to being deceptive about anything else, too.

I think it would definitely have an impact, but only if the angle was that he and Teresa Heinz were manipulating her ex-husband's will provisions in order to to let Senator Kerry get his hands on the late Senator Heinz's estate.

I wonder if presidential health benefits extend to "life partners"?
I know that where I work they only extend to partners of the same sex....a very democrat like concept.

Photos of their wedding have been posted here. I doubt they were just staged for the purpose of a future presidential run.

I wonder if ever she could be a lady.
If they are not married, she would be First Consort, or maybe First Concubine. I kind of like the latter...

That would definitely be the end. However, I also think that it would, yet again, show a man of weak convictions. I can only imagine what women would think. The "noncommittal" type. And it would shore up his "Gigolo" reputation.
