We are not abandoning the rule of law the other side is doing so. Simply sticking to the line that the Democrats are "merely misguided" is like a busted weld under a fresh coat of paint it looks good but you don't want to bet your life on it. If push comes to shove it is better to be ready to fight & to be victorious than to be caught flat footed & get your head kicked in.
I'm serious when I say that it probably isn't a Democrat, or not a sane one, and certainly not an approved one who did this. It's either a nut or an agent provacateur. Under those likely scenarios, feisty rhetoric from us isn't going to help. It just plays into the hands of the provokers.
But I understand your sentiments and I quietly share them.
