This was the best speech I've seen Pres. Bush give.

This was the best speech I've seen Pres. Bush give. Anyone think that Peggy Noonan may have had a hand in it?

As I have traveled our country, I have met too many good doctors, especially OB-GYNS, who are being forced out of practice because of the high cost of lawsuits.Guess you can say Edwards had a hand in this with his medical malpractice suits.

Fox reported earlier today that Peggy was involved.

Wow!
My favorite line, one that someday could be chizzeld in stone - "My fellow Americans, for as long as our country stands, people will look to the resurrection of New York City and they will say: Here buildings fell, and here a nation rose."
Also like when he joked about his speaking ability. You can always trust someone able to laugh at himself. Can't say that about Kerry.
To: melkor
It was awesome. He makes me so proud.

"So we have fought the terrorists across the earth -- not for pride, not for power, but because the lives of our citizens are at stake. "
And anyone who doubts the truth of this, must be mind-numb.

He didn't mention illegal immigration or our porous borders.

My opponent recently announced that he is the candidate of "conservative values," which must have come as a surprise to a lot of his supporters. Now, there are some problems with this claim. If you say the heart and soul of America is found in Hollywood, I'm afraid you are not the candidate of conservative values. If you voted against the bipartisan Defense of Marriage Act, which President Clinton signed, you are not the candidate of conservative values. If you gave a speech, as my opponent did, calling the Reagan presidency eight years of "moral darkness," then you may be a lot of things, but the candidate of conservative values is not one of them.SMACKDOWN!! Kerry goes down!

I'll re-up on your ping list after the election, thanks. I'm a little tired of Catholics being used as a political pawn (per the suddenly spiny Bishops) on Single Issues ... particularly given the Cafeteria nature of most whose Family Planning mindset is in direct comport with legal abortion and for whom Artificial Reproduction is a Non-Negotiable regardless the "Killed By" date.
