Anyway, Bush didn't serve in the military
I suppose GW just wanted to wear this uniform to impress the ladies.
I also suppose driving an F-102 Delta Dagger was just an imagination.
I also suppose you think he went AWOL, but never faced a court marshal, or Dishonorable Discharge for action unbecoming of an officer.
I suppose you never served your country...

A LOT of people were impressed when he landed on the aircraft carrier, too. As a matter of fact, that shot of him gave the Dems so much "uniform envy" that they ditched Dean in order to get their own uniformed candidate. Unfortunately for the party of Draft-Dodgers, Kerry was the best they could dredge up. But then, what would you expect from the party that considers Wesley Clark to be a great military mind?
And, as for the folks hung up on the AWOL thing, just say it loud and often. You still won't be right, but it will give you a sense of what you're missing from the streets of New York.
