He got into the guard cause of Daddy, it's sad that good Americans would let him get away with pretending that didn't happen

You are full of it, I went into the Reserves before Active Duty, reservists and Guard members go through the same training. You have no idea what you are talking about.
Kerry Joined the reserves to, by the way...I suppose you think for a different reason.

Oh, by the way, I got in the Air Force because I made my daddy sign me in! Where were you? Have you been to a MEPS center at your capital, or ever step foot onto any military facility? Do you like the military?

He did NOT "get into the guard cause of Daddy" [sic]
1. There were 100 plus open slots in the unit at the time.
2. Fighter pilots slots are always open because of the extensive ADT required (that's Active Duty for Training since it doesn't sound like you have any military experience yourself). Flight school and training plus the extended obligation on account of the training.
3. Texas at the time was (. . . wait for it . . . ) an entirely DEMOCRAT state. Geo.H.W. Bush was one of two lonely Republican representatives in the entire state. He had about as much pull as I have with the mayor of the City of Atlanta.
You want to try again?
