In 1971, John Kerry partnered with Al Hubbard to create the VVAW (Vietnam Veterans Against The War).

So Kerry actually founded that group? Is that the same group which plotted to kill President Nixon?

Not sure about the Nixon stuff - but this is the group that did discuss assassinating sitting senators...

There are some disputed reports. I believe the VVAW was founded in 1967 but Kerry became it's spokesman in 1971.

Former VVAW leader Robert Muller founded the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) in 1978. The VVA also describes John Kerry as a “co-founder” of the organization.
