I've heard a rumor that Keyes is supporting slavery reparations: any truth to this or is it being taken out of context?

For the most part, it's something taken out of context. I saw his statement as a way of challenging the "reparations" movement by changing the context from a give-away to encouraging work and private enterprise. It's doubtful that Keyes would actually make his proposal a legislative action in the Senate.

He's for them, but not really. Uh-huh.

Correct answer: yes. He is for reparations.
