Thanks, I sent that article to my 16 year-old son, who idolizes The Ramones. My son is one of the few conservatives in his high school.
This is Southern California after all.

I did back in 2000 and he said he was voting for Bush. I heard about 3 months ago that he was involved in some crap but perhaps I was mistaken.
Hope he's still on our side!

Yeah, this should inspire him. I live in greenwhich village, the home of the Ramones and CBGB's. Your son will get more lessons in survival from Johnny Ramone than Pat Boone any day. Gabba Gabba Hey.

Jerry Doyle, most famous for his role on Babylon 5, "came out" as a conservative and ran for Congress. He lost, and says that Hollywood stopped calling him afterward. Now, he's a radio talk show host (he filled in for Laura Ingraham while she was on vacation) and a durn good one. He's Michael Savage with an even temper.
Don't be too surprised if Ron Silver follows him out of stardom now that he's gone from being an honored guest at the Clinton inaugural ("Those are OUR planes now!") to supporting Bush.

Ummm..Pat? Is it cool if I am honest for a moment with you? Ok.....well....you suck. Bigtime. Not a little. But a lot. A major el sucko grande.
there are many right leaning musicians that have made it big. But they have talent, Pat.

Keith FoulkeReally? How do you know?
The guy spent two seasons in the Bay Area (one with the Giants, one with the A's), five in Chicago with the White Sox, and now he's in Boston. It must be tough on the guy to go from one liberal enclave to another.

Pat must have saved a lot of money since I assume that God doesn't take his 10 percent cut You forget the 10 percent tithe to the church, which I'm sure Pat does faithfully - and probably more. That's God's 10 percent.
To: my_pointy_head_is_sharp
Yeah, but God still can't get Pat a role in a western.
To: Kaslin
Pat Boone is a shill for TBN.If there is a bigger (Christian)scam than TBN,it hasn't been made public yet.He makes all Christians look like idiots.

Did I miss Jerry Doyle on that list?? I listen to his talk radio program every weekday evening, and he is one powerful conservative voice!!
112 episodes of "Babylon 5", ran for Congress in California (was not successful), jet pilot, 10 years on Wall Street, etc., etc.
I love the guy!!

Fleetwood Mac?
I can't confirm all on the list are right of center or why their names on on the list. The web sight does have an explaination for each name and why they are on the list.
Being Bob Hope is on the list I would bet this list goes back a few months. He by the way was very much a Republican.
