What is wrong with Poppy's eye?

At first I thought Poppy might have had a Bob Dole eye nip or tuck, but getting another good luck, I wonder if he had cataract (sp) surgery. I'm sure he's fine, but there's definitely something going on with one of his eyes.

And really, I'm just being silly, but last night, when the camera got in for a tight shot, Laura's backdrop looked like an old fashioned plastic shower curtain to me.

And when you get just the right camera angle, with Tim Russert looking over to his left, at Brokaw, there's something wierd going on with Tim's left nostril. Like a big white boogie just hanging on the tip of his nose.
