Just yesterday I went searching the Net for a list of gifts from others outside NYC, having recalled so much of the goodwill that was bestowed upon this city after 9/11. Fire engines were sent from small communities in Louisiana and across the nation. But I couldn't find the list.
Pataki has filled in some of the blanks, but as a 34-year resident of NYC, let me add my thanks for the generosity so many of you Americans demonstrated in those days. Thank you very much.
