I think a lot of people just wanted reassurance that Bush was OK, after getiing non-stop negative messages from the MSM for the last few years. Once they saw McCain, Giuliani, and Arnold praising Bush, they decided it would be OK to go ahead and vote for him.
Unfortunately, many people are that shallow...

Which is why I don't trust anything that comes out of a democrat poll, and am leery of Zogby.
Then, I think, if Zogby can't even spin the numbers, it's got to be true.
I think you are right. They have been made to feel it isn't "hip" to vote for this man. But his ratings personally have remained high. They love him, they just needed to know they weren't alone.
And, the reason so many people buy high and sell low -- Love that herd mentality.
