I give as much credence to Newsmax as I do the digital poop-scooper Salon.And it's not only because it's Newsmax but the Navy is supposedly doing this because of Judicial Watch's involvement. Double whammy for questionable stories going nowhere.

The problem with something like this is, they quote a "spokesman", which then gets spread around as if it were a press release. The problem lies in people spreading gossip as fact.
