In a 50-50 nation, how do the media square this imbalance with the claim of being objective, fair and nonpartisan? First, I doubt the nation is 50-50. The DEMs, liberals and socialists have a disproportionately louder voice due to having prominence in the media and education systems.
Second, the media does not have to "square this imbalance." All it does is assert that it is balanced, any evidence to the contrary being summarily dismissed, end of discussion.
