I checked the iTunes music store today and noticed that all of the RNC speeches are being made available as free audiobook downloads. Requires iTunes for Mac or Windows (available here) plus an iTunes account. If you already have iTunes software and an account, clicking on the source URL for this thread will take you to Rudy Giuliani's speech. Search "RNC" to get a list of all speeches offered.
TOPICS: Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: gwb2004; rncconvention; speeches
I posted a thread (
here) when the DNC speeches were made available and wondered whether the RNC speeches would also be provided. Hats off to Apple for being fair. Enjoy

Well, at least they have AACs, the software is available for Mac and Windows (an aside, it is a darn good jukebox and CD ripper/burner) and is free, and the speeches are all free.
It works for me.

Downloading them now. Hmm... This rocks.
Love Apple, hate their liberal politics... But Steve Jobs has become a pretty shrewd businessman. He learned a lot at NeXT before returning to Apple. :-) He was supporting John Kerry earlier, but I haven't heard anything on that since.

Oh well, got to be running 2000 or XP if you are using a Windows OS.
That counts me out.

I just finished downloading all of them. Can't wait to grab the others, especially W's and Zell's and Cheney's and ...
I read a relatively recent interview with Jobs and he said he was trying to keep the politics to himself as he realizes that over half of his customers are Republicans (like me and Rush!).

You can always see if a friend could burn you a CD of your favorite speeches.

The DNC speeches are also still there if you want to hear Kerry "reporting for duty" again! LOL

Thanks, but eating once is enough for me. I prefer to be inspired rather nauseous.

But, it's still good that they're distributing the speeches, anyhow.

Thanks for the tip. I just installed the itunes player. But, be aware that the player adds ituneshelper.exe and qttask.exe to the startup tab of your system configuration utility. I hate it when programs load startup items without asking first.
