I don't get what the big deal is. He already admitted that he comitted war crimes (i.e. burned down villages) -- He was nominated anyway.

How does this change anything? I really don't get it.

There is nothing new here.

Most of his supporters don't really think that he did commit war crimes. Go to any leftwing site and see what they have to say.

*SEEING* Kerry doing it will force them to confront the reality, and more importantly, turn off the vast swathe of moderates who don't know that Kerry is a self admitted war criminal...

PICTURES are new and they will change everything. In the mentality of contemporary America, it didn't happen unless there are pictures. If Abu Gareb was sans pictures, the story would have been page B7 news after the first day.
