Facinating how they are still talking about a lousy $200,000 from a Bush supporter, out of well over $2 million. They also didn't mention that General Tommy Franks said "I respect those guys." In fact, the whole article is a stinking lie that says the Swifties are continuing despite untrue claims and everybody being against them. That is a total LIE and Kerry is obviously in trouble for a reason.
Nor that the "military records" where either written by Kerry or based on reports written by him. The few contrary reports of folks were there can be explained by the "Fog of War", but the numbers of "were there" folks who report contrary to Kerry's story are much larger than those who remember it his way.
It's also no accident that the MSM and Kerry campaign, but I repeat myself, are still focused on the "what happened in Vietnam" ads, while the Swifties have moved on to the even larger issue of "what happened when Kerry came back from Vietnam". That really is the heart of the issue. Many folks have medals they didn't really earn, or medals that at least should have been lessor ones based on the actual events, but very few came back and smeared their fellows, while the battles were still going on. That is what cannot be forgiven.
