PSR - Survey Research Unit: Public Opinion Poll # 12
www.pcpsr.org/survey/polls/2004/p12b.html
Total size of the sample is 1320 adults (835 in the West Bank and 485 in the Gaza Strip) interviewed face to face in 120 randomly selected locations
24-27 June 2004. Margin of error is 3%.
...
16) In recent weeks there is a sharp decrease in the level of violence exerted by both sides. In your opinion should Palestinians continue nevertheless the suicide bombings inside Israel if an opportunity arises?(Gaza Strip in parenthesis)
1) Definitely yes 21.9 (33.3)
2) Yes 36.7 (34.3)
3) No 31.6 (25.2)
4) Definitely no 5.5 (3.9)
5) DK/NA 4.3 (3.3)
Ping.
Then I support the bombing of the PLO terrorists in Palestine 100%.
I wonder what the poll numbers are now on whether the Israelis should annex the territories and transfer the Arab population....
I'm surprised it's that low...
I support Israel dismanteling their security fence..... and then rolling tanks through the entire Palestinian squatter camps, chasing out all the Palestinians to neighboring Arab lands. And then re-erecting the security fence.
And if any of the Arab countries come to the "aid" of their Palestinian "brothers", militarily, let Israel take the gloves off and remove the islamo-facist blight from the earth, by ANY means necessary.
Of course that means the U.N. will denounce Israel. But that means the U.S should denounce the U.N.
Now there's a solid base to build a modern rights-respecting state on!
This is a bit more complete. More evidence that the wall will work.

A majority of the Palestinians (59%) supports continued suicide bombings inside Israel if an opportunity arises. Similarly, a great majority of the Israelis (67%) support pursuing the policy of focused assassinations if an opportunity arises despite the decrease in the level mutual of violence in the past few months. The level of perceived threat in both publics also remains high with 78% of the Israelis and 77% of the Palestinians feeling that their safety and that of their families are not assured these days. Thus support for mutual cessation of violence remains very high (90% among Israelis and 79% among Palestinians). If such cessation is obtained, a majority of 55% of the Palestinians would support taking measures by the PA to prevent further armed attacks on Israeli targets. Also support for long range reconciliation between the two peoples remains very high (72% among Palestinians and 80% among Israelis) even though 43% of the Palestinians and 28% of the Israelis believe such reconciliation is not possible ever.
If I remember correctly, the No group has increased significantly from previous polls. That may be much more relevant in the long term than the raw numbers of this one.
The article also doesn't say whether the poll was taken in such a way that those being polled were free of possible intimidation. Answering No on this poll could be hazardous to your health in Palestine.
Their swarm type funerals would be more target rich.
I prefer to look at the bright side. This is lower than last year, and also lower than the all-time high.
I figure, if the trend continues, by 2057 these sandmaggots may almost be ready to have an intelligent human-type dialog.
Well, US voters picked Bill Clinton twice for President and gave him high polling numbers during the Lewinsky scandal...does that mean America loves Bill Clinton?
TThe Palestinian poll numbers are deplorable, though. There's still a lot of residual hatred against Israel.
Me too. Seriously.
Sound justification for extirpating the illegitimates.
