KERREY-ING NO ILLUSIONS (BOB KERREY LASHES OUT AT SWIFT BOAT VETS!)
NY Daily News ^ | 9/1/04

Posted on 09/01/2004 7:26:51 AM PDT by areafiftyone

New School president Bob Kerrey - a former Democratic senator from Nebraska and a Medal of Honor recipient in Vietnam - had choice words for the Swifties accusing Sen. John Kerry of volunteering for Vietnam combat duty to pad his political résumé.

"Oh, f-- them," he told the Daily News' James Gordon Meek. "Quote me on that. The idea that you'd volunteer for [Swift boat duty] because you're thinking about a political career. ... That's what you think about doing if you want a posthumous political career."

Meanwhile, Creative Coalition co-president and "Dr. Vegas" star Joe Pantoliano wonders if FDR would fare better than Kerry if he were alive today.

"You'd have wheelchair veterans for truth coming out of the woodwork screaming, 'He's not really a cripple!'" the former "Sopranos" star told us at the coalition's party for former First Son Ron Reagan's collection of essays, "If You Had Five Minutes with the President."

Ahem. We have a New Effing Kerrey.

Bob Kerrey is odd looking but I'd kill for his complexion.

Bob Kerrey is a former Navy SEAL.
SEALs are, um, unique men. I used to think that he might be presidential material.
Too bad. The SEALs are some bad dudes.
There aren't too many LIVE recipients of the Medal of Honor. That says something about him too. All good.
Leave it to the former SEAL to say "f...'em. Quote me on that." Guts he has. Brains he had. Common sense, guess not.

However, as this thread points out, he is getting more leftie as he grows older. Too bad.

Hmmm---well as a professor at a major university I have to ask New School, how do like your articulate new president now? Is that really the best representative you can get for a scholl trying to put its best foot forward?

School President Kerry should be ashamed of himself (whether a liberal or conservative) for acting like an uneducated clod while supposidly represting the best the acadmy has to offer.

"something Kerrey ought to be pretty damn grateful for, considering the questions that have come up about his service!
"

What questions are those?

Uh, Bob "The Pinhead" Kerry, when John Kerry volunteered the swiftboats were on coastal patrol, which generally was not "in harm's way".

What a mouth. Didn't he swear at our Washington D.C. Freepers?

Sheesh, we should send him soap (for his mouth)

I regurgitate when I see Joe Pantoliano. He's as scummy in real life as the character he played on "The Sopranos".

Do you suppose the Bob Kerrey (an admitted baby killer - though admittedly to silence them for his/his crew's safety during a covert mission) use of the Fword will get the coverage Dick Cheney's got for his against the Vermont A'hole? Prolly not.

Yep, they actually had some streaming video of the incident. These kooky libs are losing it right before our eyes.

It is unfortunate, Mr Kerrey, that being a veteran does not ensure a predilection to Constitutional principles and historical American values.

In short, move to Cuba and take all of your fellow nazi RATS with you.

One of his squad members accused him of war crimes a few years ago. Something about massacrering a village. Kerrey pretty much admitted it happened. Somehow, the media dropped the story. Perhaps because Kerrey had a D after his name.

Read three chapters of John O'Neill's book UNFIT FOR COMMAND online for FREE. (with permission)
North Vietnamese General Giap credits anti-war protesters with winning the war for the communists in this book.

CHAPTER 3 THE PURPLE HEART HUNTER

CHAPTER 5 MORE FRAUDULENT MEDALS

CHAPTER 6 A TESTIMONY OF LIES

It was probably less dangerous than Kennedy's PT-109
assignment, since NV had no real Navy.

Whatever, it probably looked to Kerry like a great way
to pad his resume with some "PT boat" service, and
continue to realize what he saw as his destiny to
be the second JFK.

There are many people who were in SEAL team 1 with Bob Kerry who feel that his MoH was an overly generous award, and many more that feel that his in question massacre op is a black eye to the SEAL community should be investigated, and if found guilty he should be punished

""Oh, f-- them," he told the Daily News' James Gordon Meek. "Quote me on that."

Like his counterpart JFK, that seems to be a favorite term of his. Some school president he is. Sends a real good message to the kids whose well-being and education you're in charge of. Great role model. Didn't he make similar comments to Kristinn and Dr. Raoul?
