I just heard on WABC radio a clip of a reporter interviewing a New York restaurant owner in New York who said the protestors better not come in because they would not be welcome. The reporter seemed taken aback by this.
BUMP
Private Property Bump
No suprise. It costs a lot to fumigate in NYC.
Regardless of the politics, I would keep them out just because of the smell.
And poor tips...
Yeah, but I heard and read that these protestors are your normal, everyday Joe's. Grandmothers and Grandfathers, Mothers and Fathers...
If it is an all you can eat..I wouldn't want moore 20 miles near my restaurant...
If it's an upscale NYC retaurant, the protestors can not afford it, AND they've caused all the people who can to flee Manhattan this week. No wonder the owner's pissed.
They would drive away the humans.
Not only the smell, and the poor tips--but they'd probably steal the place blind. Who knows, they may not even be potty-trained yet. I wouldn't want them in my place, either.
The fellow interviewed was Jimmy the bartender. He said if any protestors came to his bar they wouldn't get out (alive????). This from a New Yorker. I suspect many New Yorkers feel the same way. Go Jimmy!
