Well, he won today. Given who he is and what's he done, should he have won? Absolutely NOT! The AL giving him a pass allows a generally uninformed swing voter to assume that the Swiftees are just GOP stooges and that he didn't do anything out of bounds. That's a very unfortunate thing, IMHO.

He didn't win anything. This event is nothing in the overall scheme of things.

As others have tried to tell you, democrats are also members of the AL and Kerry has been taking his own people with him and planting them in his audiences. Heck, he even used the media to make it seem like a restaurant was full when no one else showed up.

It is not fair to hold the entire AL responsible for having a few dems in their group.

He definitely didn't win. He was nervous and it showed. His clear discomfort is a sign that we are winning.

Take that as a success and don't blame honorable veterans for the actions of a few.

When you think about it, what you are doing is similar to what Kerry did years ago.

Separate them. Please.

But if there were no wide shots of the audience, perhaps many were standing with their backs to the stage or even walked out as Kerry started speaking. We can't know and RATs won't tell it. We'll have to wait until someone inside the hall who's a Bush supporter tells us what happened.
