It is from these things the New Soldier is asking America to turn. We are asking America to turn from false glory, hollow victory, fabricated foreign threats, fear which threatens us as a nation, shallow pride which feeds off fear, and mostly from the promises which have proven so deceiving these past ten years.

When is the speech?
I, too, need to know the time. It probably is when I have a doctor's appointment, so I am counting on Freeperville for the facts. I am anxious to hear what Mr. Furious has to say.
Reports this morning said he wanted to come out swinging against the Swiftees but was advised against it. Will he come out swinging today?
I also want to see the reception he is given.
Questions for those in the know: I heard on the radio yesterday that the VFW as an organization does not endorse candidates. True?
As for the Kerry campaign -- as one Democratic strategist surveying the the last three weeks said, they have gone from "delusion obliviousness straight to panic. Not even a pause at anywhere constructive."

IMHO ... Democrats will have learned one thing from this campaign. They must somehow gain control of all media outlets, allowing only their propaganda to be heard.
All conservative radio must be silenced. All opposing TV networks removed from the air. Conservative bloggers banned from the internet. And last, but not least, all supporters of, and the Swifties themselves, must be interred in indoctrination camps, until they get their minds right ... Luke!
"... now, fellahs... we're all fellow veterans here, right? 'Let bygones be bygones'... yes, sir, that's always been my motto, by golly! Heh-heh-heh... my goodness... I don't think I've ever seen quite this many torches and pitchforks at any American Legion function before this, in all honesty. Is this something new you men have started up just recently, or -- hey! YOU, there! SIR! Yes, you, the one swinging that bicycle chain over his head! That's just about close enough, thank you very much! I... I... holy geez, is that an actual scaffold you guys are putting together, back there...?"
The President spoke somewhere around 9:45 or so.
Maybe the same time?
One safe prediction: John F*ckin' will show up late.
Thanks for posting this. I want to know the time too. I'm like a kid on Christmas morning. I can't wait to see Kerry implode.
I hope some Veterans will be passing out copies of Kerry's comments about the VFW and American Legion.
For the pool, put me in for 57 minutes late.
This is amazing. The time is not available anywhere. Only information in the news or websites is that Kerry is speaking today, this morning, or Wednesday morning. I wonder if the media is purposely avoiding giving out the time to help protect Kerry's image. Remember that almost every time he gives a speech, his poll numbers go down.
Somebody ping me when it begins, please! :-)
Speech is at 11:00 AM.

Wonder if John F'N will bring Hanoi Jane with him to warm up the crowd?
Here's some interesting viewing while you wait:

There's a video of an interview with Ari Fleischer there.
Enjoy. :o)
I'm not in a place where I can do this right now, but some enterprising freeper could probably fax a copy of the anti-Vet VVAW flyer discussed on this thread:

To the location where the speech is being held, most likely found at this site:
