Kerry appearance at American Legion - live thread
self

Posted on 09/01/2004 4:46:34 AM PDT by rudy45

Sorry for starting this thread so early. Is this like calling "shotgun" three days before the trip starts LOL?

I was trying to find out the time that the Senator's speech will occur. I found nothing at the Legion website (www.legion.org), nor at the Kerry site, nor at CSPAN. When will the speech be given?

Anyway, here is a thread for people to post their comments.

The average person knows when he/she has done something really terrible and gotten away with it. It's the stuff of nightmares. Will they find out? When will I get that knock at the door? Probably it's why he wakes up screaming, and TerAYsa has to slap him and tell him to shut up, for God's sake. Kerry fears the Swifties have it in living color and plan to release it in October. The fun is speculating on what else Botoxboy got up to that the Swifties have on film, with footnotes. It could be that meeting where his anarchist pals chatted about assassinating senators. Maybe they have him suggesting a few names, or raising his fist and yelling, "Right on, bro!" Or it could be military widows talking about their husbands who died in Viet Cong prison camps, and blaming Kerry.

Sure, some will vote for Kerry because they're yellowdog democrats or for some other foolishness. But Kerry is perceived as weak on defense and itching to stick his hand into everybody's wallet. Here today, we have terrible news from Russia, not only the two recent plane crashes and the bomb blast in Moscow, but now a school invaded by terrorists, many children taken hostage, some killings. Hello, America. This could happen here, and Kerry's answer would be to give Muslim maniacs whatever they want. Goodbye freedom, national sovereignty, peace, and the right to the pursuit of happiness. He isn't going to be President. Not ever.

Don't you have the feeling that GW was put on this earth to be President during these perilous times? That speech he gave at the National Cathedral right after 9/11 was vintage King Arthur drawing the Sword from the Stone. The look of envy on that sociopath, Clinton's, face as GW walked back to his seat was unforgettable. The world is teetering on the brink of an abyss, a second Dark Ages, and only the US stands ready, with her allies, to defend Western Civilization and Christianity. God loves us. He wouldn't leave us in the hands of someone like Kerry.

I've never understood how a man like Glenn could ally himself with democrats, especially ones like Kerry.

If anybody has an insight on this puzzle, please let me know.

I see God's hand in Bush's presence at this time. I really do.

"Hillary already said as much in 2000. She was commenting with respect to Drudge, and she actually said that the internet needs to be regulated in order to prevent phenomena like Drudge from happening."

Second time today. BITE. ME. HITLERY. I'm definitely a South Park Republican in many ways. So I'll let Kyle Broflovski handle this one.

Dad: "See Kyle, we live in a Democracy, and it's Democrats that make Sexual Harrasment Laws that tell us what we can and cannot say in the workplace!"

Kyle: "But Dad, isn't that fascism?"

Dad: "No, because we don't call it fascism."

Same thing with Hillary's obsession with disarming America, shutting up anyone not like her, and the occasional nasty "behind the scenes" cleanup. I wish I had more arms and hands, more middle fingers to flip at this Red b*tch.

You wrote: I wonder why, with all the available choices, one would choose a user name as "zot"?

Quite simple, really. I entered my user name before the word "zot" took on it's special meaning in Free Republic.

It was the name I used when I and my family were playing Dungeons and Dragons -- Zot, the lawful good magic user.

Originally, it was the sound of lightning in the BC comic strip.

Good grief... I'd think Nixon is the last person Kerry would want to remind people of.
