I was trying to find out the time that the Senator's speech will occur. I found nothing at the Legion website (www.legion.org), nor at the Kerry site, nor at CSPAN. When will the speech be given?

Actually, I meant that Bush spoke to this same group yesterday at 9:45.
I hope Kerry gets booed big time. They covered all of Bush's speech yesterday, so we may get to watch all of Kerry's.
It would be great if he soiled his already dubious reputation amongst vets by trashing even more vets. Every vet knows that the Swiftees are also his "band of brothers", and unlike Rassman they're not even on the DNC payroll.
I was surprised at Mara. She gave the most sensible answer to the question of that one sentence of all the panelists.
Kerry may be down for the moment and hopefully, it is the beginning of the end for him,...but we must not be complacent..this is Sept..two more months to go and we all know the RATS will have a few tricks up their sleeves......

Not me. I hope he gets a respectful hearing. Not that he deserves it, but I think the membership of the American Legion has more class.
I read somewhere, 80% of the membership is for GWB, so Kerry is not walking into friendly territory.

Odd. According to this, the VFW didn't endorse any presidential candidate in 1992.
AP story on VFW's non-endorsement suggests so far draft issue is a wash.
As a matter of fact, according to this, the VFW doesn't endorse presidential candidates at all.
