1 September 2004BERLIN - Most Germans don't like US President George W. Bush and a poll released Wednesday showed a whopping 81 percent would vote for Democratic Party candidate Senator John Kerry.
The Stern magazine poll showed just 8 percent of Germans would vote for Bush, with 11 percent saying they would be unwilling to cast a ballot for either Bush or Kerry.
A total of 1,001 people were surveyed for the poll which has a margin of error of plus or minus three percentage points.
The US presidential election will be held on 2 November.
they can have him. how soon can we send him over there?!
Think they will be shipping some Germans over for the election?
81% of Americans don't care what the Germans think.
Please ping me if the French conduct a similar poll.
Naw...they're too broke from socialism.
UPS ground, maybe.
Germans... Germans... Didn't they also vote for Hitler?
Sitzpinklers For Kerry!
I can see the wheels turning over at the DNC right now. Somehow there has to be a way to get them registered to vote.
So Kerry is polling almost as well as Yassir Arafat in Germany?
Yeah and their granpa's voted for Hitler in droves. when they have a century as a democracy, maybe they can give us advice.
Only because Hitler's not running.
On a similar note, the Yankees lost 22-0
Now I ask, who gives a rat's behind what the Germans think?
Were these likely voters or just registered voters....
Yep... the very same 81%...
I'll buy his plane ticket. (one way, of course...)
Vote for Bush and pi## off 81% of Germans.
Hmmm....Hitler was a corporal, a wounded veteran who ran on his war record and built himself up criticizing those who stayed home....Kerry was a Lt. JG, a wounded vet who ran on his war record and built himself up criticizing those who stayed home....
We just may have found the next chancellor of Germany!
And that's why Germany is what Germany is today, and America is what America is today. No thanks Germany.
