1 September 2004

BERLIN - Most Germans don't like US President George W. Bush and a poll released Wednesday showed a whopping 81 percent would vote for Democratic Party candidate Senator John Kerry.

The Stern magazine poll showed just 8 percent of Germans would vote for Bush, with 11 percent saying they would be unwilling to cast a ballot for either Bush or Kerry.

A total of 1,001 people were surveyed for the poll which has a margin of error of plus or minus three percentage points.

The US presidential election will be held on 2 November.

I can see the wheels turning over at the DNC right now. Somehow there has to be a way to get them registered to vote.

So Kerry is polling almost as well as Yassir Arafat in Germany?

Hmmm....Hitler was a corporal, a wounded veteran who ran on his war record and built himself up criticizing those who stayed home....Kerry was a Lt. JG, a wounded vet who ran on his war record and built himself up criticizing those who stayed home....

We just may have found the next chancellor of Germany!

And that's why Germany is what Germany is today, and America is what America is today. No thanks Germany.
