What do you need a generator for? My elderly parents were without power for seven - that's SEVEN - days in Polk County (central Florida) following Charley. Yes, they could not refrigerate food or run their A/C in the 90 degree weather. Life was NOT fun at all for those seven days!

My elderly parents were without power for seven - that's SEVEN - days in Polk County (central Florida) following Charley. That is much better than what we went through with Andrew. Actually one neighbor had a generator and we wanted to kill him. He had the thing going all night and it was amazing how noisy that thing was when you dont have anything else making sounds (besides the bugs).
