I was just told by my ex-wife that there are NO HOTEL VACANCIES in the Tampa St-Pete area.

Any verification ?

I just got three days/nights reservations (Thursday-Friday-Saturday nights for my ex-wife and daughters) at the Days Inn in Clearwater (Tampa area) on Hwy-19N, close to Dunedin. 727-797-3000

Rate was $ 65 per night (approximately). Desk girl said rooms were available, but being rented at a brisk pace.


BTW. I have no financial stock, business interest, NADA in any hotel business whatsoever (at least in this Corner of the Space-Time Continuim) ...

No 100% sure mind you but they did say on the news that most hotels are occupied by people displaced by Charley.
