My guess is that tragically, Mr. Golan thinks Israel is oppressing Palestinian rights.

Just being selfish here, but I wonder if this will change any votes among the NYPD.

His announcement is floating around in the same limbo as the Clinton denouncement of the vicious attack on the FReeper Physist in Philadelphia.

You left out the part about a main component is Halliburton subsidiary Brown Root, the same company who had no-bid, cost plus contracts in Vietnam.
It is also rumored that Lady Bird Johnson was a large share holder in BR.
The non bid contracts were the best...... RMKBRJ
Raymond, Marcus Knudson, Brown root, Jones.

I thought I heard on FOX that they're still looking for the woman wearing the bright green hat. It's my understanding that the hats are worn by attorneys, observing protesters rights to free speech, etc.

Check out the front page of the NYCLU's website...according to them it was such a "peaceful" protest:
http://www.nyclu.org/
Their fax number is at the bottom of the page somewhere. I couldn't find an email address to flood them with our "concerns" about their erroneous story.

It is time that Kerry call off his attack dogs. This is sickening. The pubbies should be following the lead of the dims who keep insisting that the President should criticize the Swiftee ads. They should be calling out loudly and often that Kerry should tell his followers to stop the violence.

Any NYC-area Freepers around that could comment on whether this could swing enough of the city's votes to put the state into play for the president? I'm not trying to sound crass by thinking that the attack could be a good thing politically, but these things have a way of affecting some voters.

YOu don't know what you are talking about...the only other comparative alternative to Halliburton is Bechtel...as for Sclumberger it is an oil company where as Halliburton and Bechtel are HUGE engineering firms that do more than oil and gas infrastructure...

Police said they were charging the man, Jamal Holiday, with second-degree assault on a police officer. The suspect, Thomas Frampton, was charged with assaulting federal officers and impeding the operation of the Secret Service. Two fewer Democrat voters.

My hope is that Jamal's jailers are looking the other way when someone performs an "attitude adjustment" on him.

The group, the Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign, said it disavows violence. Sorry, but they don't get that luxury. With the violence of their members, they have weilded the sword. And they have forfeited any protection in this society. 'Justice' is a brutal chicken heading for their shoulder.
