I posted this on another thread, but thought it should be posted on this one:
I know people are criticizing the Bush girls because they came off as "ditzy" and "immature". People are saying that the Kerry girls won the First Kids battle. I totally disagree.
I am a senior in high school, so speaking from first hand experience dealing with teenage girls, young girls/women in America are not like the Kerry girls. They are like the Bush girls. I am not saying they are all ditzy stupid, but they are full of life and simply happy people. They aren't overly concerned with how smart otheres think they are, but more on having fun. The Bush family looked like an American family. And that will only help George W. in November.
My take on it. I thought Bush looked absolutely at home in the shirt and blue jeans at the softball game. Try imagining Kerry fitting in with average folks.
