Yes, it was lame. But, they seemed like normal young ladies. We shouldn't have been expecting a polished presentation. In fact, its amateurishness was really its charm.
Precisely. All the while I was thinking younger kids might be able to relate to them. It was kind of refreshing actually that they weren't polished and professional.
They had no "finesse." They were silly. Their jokes were "lame." Their words certainly weren't scripted by others for them to read.
They reminded me of my 19 year old daughter (at times) and some of her friends.
In other words, they reminded me of normal young ladies who are inexperienced, tend to say what they think, and haven't been groomed to be phonies.
What a tribute to the Bush family that their children have been brought up to be normal and not act like entitled snobs from Massachusetts who condescendingly shush an audience. : )
