I hear he's going on the attack tomorrow in St. Louis, he's going to trumpet his "wonderful" Senate service on POWs and Agent Orange.

It's lose-lose for Kerry. If he attacks, he throws more gas on the fire, and keeps it on page one another week. If he ignores it, it looks like he's admitting guilt.

But in either case, the real story will break when the investigation of the original source citations is complete. The citations he created on his own typewriter, with forged initials.

I wonder how the VFW's will react? If the veterans react poorly to him (which I have a feeling they will), then the MSM will be in a real bind on how to present Kerry's speech. They cannot trumpet Kerry without giving more voice to more pissed off vets. It also plays into the swift boaters who are shifting their attacks to Kerry's post-war antics.

That should be interesting. Even the liberal Village Voice has exposed his lies on that issue.

Senator covered up evidence of P.O.W.'s left behind; When John Kerry's Courage Went M.I.A.:

Senator John Kerry, a decorated battle veteran, was courageous as a navy lieutenant in the Vietnam War. But he was not so courageous more than two decades later, when he covered up voluminous evidence that a significant number of live American prisoners—perhaps hundreds—were never acknowledged or returned after the war-ending treaty was signed in January 1973.

The Massachusetts senator, now seeking the presidency, carried out this subterfuge a little over a decade ago— shredding documents, suppressing testimony, and sanitizing the committee's final report—when he was chairman of the Senate Select Committee on P.O.W./ M.I.A. Affairs. ...

Click on the link for the whole disgusting story of yet another Kerry betrayal of his "brothers."
