A year ago, this organization warned that the Bush Administration was planning to do something unthinkable - they were seriously considering signing a pact with Mexico that would give any Mexican who had worked in the U.S., including illegal aliens, full U.S. Social Security benefits, paid out of your Social Security Trust Fund!
It seemed so far fetched, we had trouble convincing the Congress that it could happen. A White House spokesman denied our claim that it was on a fast track, stating the ongoing discussions for Totalization were just informal and preliminary.
But we knew better. We had obtained correspondence proving it was on a fast track and had seen plans for erecting a huge new building at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City just to deal with the swarms of people anticipated to sign-up for this raid on our Social Security Trust Fund.
Well, it was on fast track, just as we said it was and a few weeks ago, the President signed the Totalization Treaty with Mexico and unless you and I can persuade the Congress to stop it, millions of Mexicans, including illegal aliens, will soon be living it up on your Social Security benefits!
The timing for repealing this outrageous treaty couldn't be worse. The few days we have to repeal this treaty are the same few days preceding the November election, when every Congressmen is campaigning hard for reelection and the Congress is seldom in session. In short, it was a very underhanded way to sneak a terrible treaty past the Congress.
So please click here to jump to our Congressional Action page and send an email to your representative TODAY!
Also --- Vicente Fox has only 2 years left unless he plans to do some kind of coup and stay in power after his one term is over. It's looking like the PRD with AMLO the mayor of Mexico City is likely to win. He's being compared with Chavez of Venezuela --- which means Mexico could be taking a serious leftward turn --- and the recent elections look like it is. We can't share our Social Security system with a Communist country. Mexico is way too unstable for a merger at this time.
Fine = fee (pay this fee and you can stay here despite the fact that you entered this country ILLEGALLY!)
Legal status = amnesty (those who have broken our laws are outlaws; but this is their lucky day!...GWB has their legal papers in hand!)
Support of such a thing = a slap in the face to the USBP (men & women of the USBP are risking their lives in the desert heat tracking and arresting ILLEGALS who break our immigration laws. But President Bush wants to grant amnesty to those who manage to get through What a guy!).
Idiots.
What about the Aliens from outter space huh? How much Social Security do they get away with, and don't have to pay a dime. Or whatever it is they use...That's the conspiracy! hahahahahahahahaahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
(FYI, I don't believe that, I was MOCKING your conspiracy theory.)
Amen to that, but you don't go far enough. All these guys here whining about the Mexicans, how they drain on our SS, how they cause our emergency rooms to close. Waaaah wah.
The real conspiracy is how much the aliens from outter space are costing our first responders every year.
Do you know how much equipment we have to buy to subsidize these aliens???? All the costs of hiding it from the media?
SS is going bankrupt, from your post to Bush's ears!
*snicker*
Oh yeah, we have millions of Americans going south of the border for jobs!! The pay down there is soooo much higher than it is in this Country, so much so that Americans are flooding across the Mexican border to do the jobs the Mexicans won't do!!
Incrementalism is what you fail to see just like a good little sheople.
I hate to tell you but they already can and do collect Social Security.
So, what happens when the illegals don't play along?
I wonder how much this push for the big giveaway has to do with politics and protests in Mexico right now.
Thousands march to support Mexico City's mayor
MEXICO CITY, Mexico (AP) -- Mexico City's leftist mayor led more than 150,000 demonstrators in a march Sunday to protest efforts to impeach him, an issue his supporters say threatens Mexico's political stability and pits "those on the bottom" against "those on top."
From Sunday:

And tomorrow there is a big Social Security protest planned in Mexico City. Lopez is the leading candidate and recently Vicente Fox's wife of 3 years supposedly pulled out of the race and I have never heard of who might be the PAN party candidate --- but PAN isn't doing well. I think our leaders don't want Lopez Obrador to win --- that might hurt some of the big business that's there in Mexico for the very cheap labor.
That is kind of silly --- the minimum wage in Mexico is about $4.50 a DAY --- not too many Americans would head down there for that. Even the doctors in Mexico don't make what nurses do in the USA and nurses in Mexico make something like $2 an hour --- good pay in Mexico but nothing that would bring Americans.

Note the first 9 months of FY2004 totals, post the Bush amnesty plan, are mostly larger than all of 2003.
This is not good.
My point exactly. But everytime this subject comes up all the little froggies swimming in the luke warm pot of water stick their heads sp and tell the rest of us the water is fine come on in. They have been swallowed up by the cult of Party affiliation.
Maryland has a few counties that allow "non-citizens" to vote in local-level elections. IIRC, there are a few other states too that allow non-citizens to vote as well.
That's reassuring... unless it is the "camel's nose under the tent."
Think about how many programs have started with limited scope and grown like cancer: Environmental species programs, social security, the income tax, various welfare and poverty programs. Remember, in the language of the Beltway every decrease in slated increase is a "cut." Be very careful about assuming reasonableness on the part of legislators (and their successors) when a new entitlement is introduced!
I guess this is about what one can expect from a child.
You seem to have your head screwed tightly on your shoulders unlike so many of the party hacks around here have their heads buried so deep up the RNC arse they'll need D-10 Cats to dislodge them.
Our southern border with Mexico ought to be as tough to cross as Mexico's southern border.
imo
P I N G
Waiting for 8,000,000 illegals to become legals soon BTTT
