I think you are wrong about Hitlery....I think she wants to cause him to have to step down from the race, then she will come to the rescue of the Taxocrats and avoid the vetting process of the primaries.IMHO

This is what I've thought all along, and in spite of people ridiculing those who believe this, I won't believe otherwise till we get to Nov 2, with sKerry still the opponent.

11:30am EST as the go time. Here is the calendar of events that will allow the "transition:"

1) This week, RNC convention and very Presidential speech net Bush a 10 point lead in some polls.

2) Sep 5-15. Kerry continues to flip-flop, and get caught in more lies about his Vietnam "service."

3) Sep 15-28. Media covers Kerry implosion 24/7. Dems panic, launch "Torricelli Switch" trial balloon.

4) Sep 28. Kerry, under pressure from every side, drops out for X reason. (X = health, family, ?whatever dumb thing Kerry thinks of?)

5) Sep 29. Hillary "drafted" by Dems, makes droaning "Ya know" speech. Liberal media go nuts, 24/7 Hillary love fest begins.

6) Month of Oct. Hillary gets clobbered by Bush in debates - liberal media still oozes over her "Strong performances."

7) Nov 2. Hillary wins by narrow margin as liberal precincts around the country report record turnout - 150-200% in some cases.

You forgot #8

8) Nov 3, Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, South Carolina, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming and Colorado secede from the Union.

:)

I have a bet for the same type of "transition". Hitlery stated several months ago that she felt the election would be settled by an "October Suprise."

I have a bet for a bananna split (large) bets been on since Hitlery made her remark.

Apparently John Lehman has personally asked for an investigation as a past SecNav.

So far I haven't seen anything, official on it, but you can bet that one is going on.

A Navy Captain last decade, I believe got caught padding his record, and he ended up in jail with a big fine.

I think that we have different paddings of the medals.

1. Happened when Kerry with his own handy dandy typewriter used Navy Forms to submit battle reports and his own recommendations.

2. Some other embellishments occured after Kerry left active duty. One probably happened when one of his best friend was the Asst SecNav udner the Clintoon, and whose speciality is getting medals for enlisted men who didn't get medals.

3. I think that one of the staff people during that regime used Lehman's autopen to embellish the changes made in #2. This would have happened after Lehman left office.

Regardless, the embellishments of the commentary on the medals has changed over the years.

Kerry's DD-214 (EFFCTIVE DATE 03-01-70), item 24 - "DECORATIONS MEDALS BADGES COMMENDATIONS CITATIONS AND CAMPAIGN RIBBONS AWARDED OR AUTHORIZED" shows "BRONZE STAR WITH COMBAT 'V'" and "SILVER STAR WITH COMBAT 'V.'"

Neither the Zumwalt nor Lehman Citations for Kerry's Silver Star mention a "Combat V." However, the Zumwalt Citation for Kerry's Bronze Star says, "Lieutenant (junior grade) KERRY is authorized to wear the Combat 'V'." In the Lehman version of the same Citation, this whole line is deleted and replaced with, "The Combat Distinguishing Device is authorized." These Citations are undated and there is no clear or official explanation of where the Lehamn versions came from or why they were issued.

There may be other variances. The 1970 DD214 makes no mention of several other awards including the "Naval Unit Citation Ribbon." The "Naval Unit Citation Ribbon" is listed on the revised DD214 (Form DD 215) dated 3/12/2001, almost 30 years later.

If his butler came, the butler came on a private jet and a yacht to do the daily chores you outlined.

"Here is the calendar of events that will allow the ""transition:"

-snip-

probably pretty accurate up until number 3. From that point on, it's tin-foil hat time.

$100 will get me a one-way plane ticket from SoCal to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where I'll wait out the impending civil war after Hillary pronounces herself Queen for Life.

Thanks as usual for your excellent documentation and time charting:

"Neither the Zumwalt nor Lehman Citations for Kerry's Silver Star mention a "Combat V." However, the Zumwalt Citation for Kerry's Bronze Star says, "Lieutenant (junior grade) KERRY is authorized to wear the Combat 'V'." In the Lehman version of the same Citation, this whole line is deleted and replaced with, "The Combat Distinguishing Device is authorized." These Citations are undated and there is no clear or official explanation of where the Lehman versions came from or why they were issued."

This ties in with my reply above #86 above, re at least 3 paddings, embellisments, versions of why the medal was given.

Judicial Watch is just screwing this up, IMO. The problem with the Silver Star is obviously explainable as a clerical typo. There is another "V" on the medal listed below it. This just opens the legitimate groups like SBV's to charges of persecuting Kerry over trivialities.

Everybody's got to get into the act.

"Thanks. 2 and 3 what I believe happened for sure."

Tacis's reply #87 is what makes me believe #2 and #3.

Many of us believe that Kerry used his own typewriter and standard Navy Forms to write the battle reports and his own recommendations for his medals.

Even if only one my 3 guesses are correct, that still makes him a worthless POS.

> I DO think she wants to make sure Kerry loses so
> she does have a free shot at 2008.

And not just that. A sitting Dem president could (and
probably would) wrest control of the DNC away from the
Clintons.

When you add those two facts together, the Clintons
cannot allow a Democrat win in 2004 (unless the
candidate is Hillary, on a Toricelli maneuver).
