The latest and perhaps last chapter in the long legal story of Terri Schiavo is to open Tuesday, when the Florida Supreme Court (news - web sites) hears nationally televised arguments in the far-reaching right-to-die case.
There is only one thing on which the dozens of lawyers representing Gov. Jeb Bush or Schiavo's husband agree: The stakes are high.

A photographer took this photo of Terri's mom, Mary Schindler, during this morning's hearing.
This is a heartbreak, this photo says it all.
dear lady. how I hurt for her.
God, please strengthen and comfort Terri's mom and family through yet another excruciating day and court hearing . . . may the truth be heard in such a way that it cannot be ignored . . . I wish she could feel my hug and know that we love her and are lifting them up in prayer.
Hugs to Mary, Bob, Suzanne and Robert Jr. Your
dedication to your loved one Terri, is an inspiration
to our nation.
May the Good Lord bless your every effort to bring
Terri home, in order to shower her with your love.
You are in our thoughts and prayers!!
She's been through hell and back. That they let her daughter suffer so is heart-wrenching. In June when I spoke to Mary about how she gets through each day, she told me that she can make it through anything except for when they stop feeding Terri. She said that all our prayers and support help her so much, and that she didn't know what she'd do without all of us. She told me that Terri's got hundreds of thousands of supporters from all over the world and from every walk of life. That's where she gets her comfort from. Her loyal brothers and sisters (God's children each one). And ultimately her strength is from God, who sustains us all.
thanks for passing that along. .....if it hurts me/US so much, seeing this travesty at a distance, how excrutiating it must be for her! I cannot imagine having my child in Terri's situation, cannot imagine having to endure this life threatening CRAP!!
prayer bump. back in a while.
may the truth be heard
Yes, but we know that the truth is a stranger to the FL legal system.
The article says the trial will nationally televised. Any info?
