Although almost every argument aginst our president is just about forgotten, every now and then you'll hear someone spout the passe' talking point, to wit: "He (meaning president Bush) got us into this war with no idea as to how to get us out."
What is Kerry's exit strategy?
How dare he drag those sincere Democrats through this campaign war and have no way of extracting himself (and them) from this quagmire !
Man the phones and bombard the Kerry headquarters with the demand ... "How are you going to get us out of this ?"
"What's your exit strategy?"
"We're drowning in this quagmire !"
You spelled "strategery" wrong.
He will cry, accidentally wound himself playing polo, resign and let John Edwards (aka the talking haircut) channel the ghost of Napoleon to resolve the issue.
The way out is to win. And we're winning.
Did FDR have an exit strategy for the war in the Pacific? You bet. Victory!
It's one of the keywords.
Actually he has declared a strategy. U.S. troops will start pulling out within six months, and be replaced by French and German troops. The French and Germans will do this as a personal favor, because they respect Kerry.
Waht's Kerry's exit strategy from the campaign? As he's run it he's destroyed his six o'clock bridges. Democrats are not exactly kind to losers. Hillary would have him arkansided if Tereeza doesn't do it first.
Simple. He doesn't have one. He's not George Bush which is all he (thinks he) needs.
It'll come in the form of a concession speech.....
He doesn't have one. But it would be easy to develop one. I think the best outcome for the DNC is for Kerry to have a nervous breakdown. That could be blamed on Bush's mean-spirited attacks, and would garner some sympathy vote.
> "He (meaning president Bush) got us into this war

The same could be asked of the Dem presidents who got us
into Germany, Japan, Korea and the Balkans, where we still
are. I won't bring up that Bush is working an exit strat
for Germany :-)
But back to the metaphor ... I sense that the Kerry Kamp
is in deep crisis, and there is no way out. The Clintons
allowed him to be the Designated Loser this year, and he
cannot escape his fate.
Here's a question:
When did Teresa learn the truth about Kerry's medals?
LOL!
He will spend the rest of the campaign curled up in the fetal position in his mansion in Nantucket, with his thumb in his mouth, mumbling, "But I served in Vietnam..."
Well, JF'nK took odds with GWB's exit strategy for WWII (reduce troops in Germany) and Korea (reduce troops in South Korea) so doesn't it follow that sKerry will demand we keep troops in Bosnia and in Iraq?
"accidentally wound himself playing polo"
Please don't insult polo players... I doubt that Kerry can even ride a horse, other then his own ass.
Polo players that I know would eat KerryFerry for breakfast.

No offense to polo players, or for that matter horses, intended. The latter sometimes think Kerry is making fun of them...
bad news- the call has already been made to lautenberg
good news- W over ol frank by 7
line of the day
If kerry isn't tough enough to face russert-how does he face the chinese, iranians etc?
What is Kerry's exit strategy?
I don't have any idea, but "exiting" is one of the man's solid gifts. You've got to give that to him. He found a way to hyper-compress a one year "tour in Nam" to just over 4 months, after all.
:)
