My 13 yo daughter is exploring a career in the military. Currently encouraging her to pursue a medical education of some sort before enlisting. But, I have no problem with it otherwise, except my belief that she should not be on the front lines.

Even the medical troops can be on the front lines because the front lines are everywhere. When I was Honduras, our helicopter hard landed. "Hard Landing" is a military euphemism for any crash that doesn't end in a fireball. Rattled my brains, but really messed up the pilot and copilot.

I managed to pull the two pilots out. The rescue chopper medics carried them to the rescue chopper. The 5'2", 110lb female flight surgeon, carried/dragged me to the chopper. I was 170lbs plus 40lbs of gear.

Thanks again, Colleen.
