I'm just pointing out the disappointment, I find in the delivery.
DRUDGE broke the embargo on the speech, and I had tears in my eyes, reading it in 'hard copy' format a half hour ago. Now watching it live, I wasn't moved. Just didn't see the same emotion in the words.
Again, as you say 'she's a librarian, not a politician'. And she's reading this speach on auto-cue under immense pressure.
I'm sure she's far more engaging one-on-one with people, or in more intimate surroundings.
I like Laura Bush. She is a lady.
