I'm going to be flamed for this...

...but the BBC have just gone to Laura's speech live, and while what she is saying is so very pertinent...

She is coming across as very wooden.

Laura is the real thing but I repeat anybody coming after arnold will look weak. She is the finest first lady we have had since her mother-in-law.

You need to set your TV to English units, you are probably watching her in metric. American women always look wooden in metric.
