I've been thinking about the singing policeman's tenor voice since last night... he had a quality, a smoothness I couldn't pin down. Goodness, what a beautiful sound. It just came to me as a flash from childhood, Johnny Mathis.
there is a smoothe mellowness about his voice, I agree & his face is so gentle.. love to see/hear him
Johnny Mathis is nearly 70 yrs. old. Only last week I bought a CD of his greatest hits. Oh it is heaven to hear.
