The same goes for Michael Steele (Lt. Gov of MD). MD Libs went the extra mile to be bigoted idiots to keep him from being elected.

I was really involved in that campaign and I missed that. They were so confident that their Kennedy would win they didn't offer to much resistance.

At one or more of the debates, the fine citizens of Baltimore were passing out Oreo cookies in Steele's honor and keying Pubbie cars.

Steele just got a dig in on the 'segregationist democrats' of the 1960s. I say nothing has changed in MD.
