Saying Kerry campaign had to get out in front of the way the Republicans are trying to define him. Saying that the Republican attacks on Kerry were going to be effective if his campaign didn't respond.
THEN, IN COMMENTING ON ALL THE REFERENCES TO 9-11 MADE LAST NIGHT, SHE SAID (something to the effect of) "AND EVERYBODY IN THE COUNTRY WAS JUST STARTING TO FORGET ABOUT 9-11."
I kid you not.
She's the one who kept wailing on 9/11 that America is going to need a President to comfort them and isn't it too bad that Clinton is out of office, and too bad Bush is so inarticulate...ooooohhhhh, woe is me.....I've never forgiven her.
