This is the thread for Day Two of the RNC Convention.
Jennifer Dunn casting votes for Washington.
Pennsylvania was the lucky state that put W over the top. Some rioting in the Big Apple, Someone got attacked on the set of Hardball....there's more, I'm sure.
Matthews is talking to the panel and all of a sudden he goes "Whoa" and you see a cop tackling a (I think black hooded) guy right next to him...they cut away to the convention floor.
When they came back they were laughing it off, but looked a little shaken, IMHO.
LOL... That is exactly what I just said to myself.
MSNBC's website.
The question will be if Chrissy is rooting for the hooded animal or grateful for the police intervention. Probably the former....
If you get a sec can you post a link?
Why did they cut away? That's good TV.
Funny part was that Matthews had just finished saying the protestors were peaceful, and as he was saying that they panned to the crowd and the cops are definitely having a hard time containing the "push" of the crowd.
I was just wondering who put him over. Lucky Pennsylvania!
Riots? Hardball?
Wow. I'm not moving from this spot again!
I wish they hadn't, but it was a little scary. You could tell if the guy was just running through the MSNBC set or if he was targeting one of the panel.
like it.. you're good. too bad your "subject" is so ugly & disgusting
It looks like they cleared everyone out. I don't see anyone behind Matthews now.
Got pictures?
Even as all hell is breaking loose outside with dim protesters Mc Awfull is inside chastising Pubbies for wearing bandaid purple hearts! L0L
Arnold: "New York, give me your Girlie Men. I'll take care of them for you."
You're gonna hate me for this......
no.
But I repeat, I don't think this was nearly as big a deal as it looked.
