This is the thread for Day Two of the RNC Convention.
Susan Estrich is ALWAYS smiling. It's that fake, TV smile of hers. (And don't get me wrong, I actually kind of like Susan, but she's always got that same expression.)
I didn't SAY that I lost a child. I said that you should never make a caustic comment like that because you don't know who you are talking to. You might ask me, "How old is YOUR dad?" and it would hurt, because he's been dead 10 years. It's amazing to me that you would ask ANY stranger in a sarcastic way, "How old are YOUR kids?" My mother DID lose a child, and such a comment would have been devastating to her.

You'd have to see it to believe it. I don't watch PBS & only know two names on the--5 or 6 person ?--panel, but they were almost in shock re: Arnold. Didn't look happy about it, but impressed they were.

The Bush twins were speaking to 18-23 year olds, and unfortunately most of us are not in that category.
We aren't meant to get the humor--It's not aimed at us.
It's a move to broaden the perspective to younger voters. GET OVER IT!!!!!
No.....the droolers come in every stripe and I hate droolers,no matter WHO they are for. It's as simple as that.And I was and still am a HUGE Arnold fan.
