It was Kristol changed the subject from the twins to Arnold. Mort had the harshest words. Even Fred criticized their presence on the stage. Of the four, Kristol had the kindest things to say.

The problem is that most people wouldn't have stuck around to hear Arnold.

You always want your best to go first. Remember this is not scheduled for political junkies who will watch everything. This is scheduled for the attention deficit public who will turn in to watch Arnold because of the curiosity factor.

I remember those drills. We went into the hallway, got on our knees & covered our heads with our arms. That would save us from the big one.

Maybe.

Like I said, I found it 'wooden'. (I expect to be flamed for that comment, but it is my honest opinion)

My question is, Does he still go to Gettysburg tonight where he was supposed to do this remote? I have no clue. Bet they bag it and go back to the WH with those helicopters sitting over at the Army War College.

He accomplished his mission on introducing Laura.

I am sure a lot of people just tuned in for Arnie. Sure it would have been good to have Rudy and Arnie back to back but that is hinesight.

they should have been on the cable only night.

I vehemently disagree, the ABC's are ruing the day after Arnolds speech. The press is trying to talk about ever thing else except his speech, does that tell you anything?

Fred Barns and especially Bill Kristol are just annoying. I wish they'd have someone from National Review on their panel - Rich Lowry or Kathreen Jean Lopez perhaps.

C-SPAN:

"Caller, why are you for John Kerry?"

"Uh...Why am I for John Kerry? Because I am *against* George Bush."

LOL!

Fred Barnes probably did not even listen to Steele's speech. I think we are more informed, more quickly on a lot of things than many pundits, these days.

They're 22 years old and they connected with a part of the Republican party that is young and hip which obviously you are not.

I think the gals connected with Republicans who understand the Laura Ingraham Show. They also connected with NON-Republicans who understand the Laura Ingraham Show.

My 20yr old son kept yelling...boring, boring.... :("

Sounds like something my 7-year-old son would do.

No we wouldn't. I think you can give a non-flaky speech and not come off stuffy. The "Sex and the City" comment was so not needed.

We know they are fun and hip, they didn't need to show that in a vain attempt to get the flaky 18-25 vote. The 18-35 year olds who are voting for us, aren't flakes.

I'll admit it, I love "Sex and the City" but I wouldn't talk about it at a GOP convention.

I know it's hard to believe, and Chrissy tried to convince her otherwise, but the take I saw from Andrea was FAR more positive than the FOX crowd. She was out in front with her praise. I kid you not.
